Hey! I’m Caleb Thomas, a Music Producer and Creative Director based in Nashville, Tennessee.
My goal is simple: create a recording experience where artists feel confident, inspired, and fully supported as they turn ideas into records they’re proud to release.
Too many artists walk away from recording sessions feeling disconnected from the music they set out to make. My process is built around collaboration, trust, and making sure your voice remains at the center of every creative decision.

How do I know if I'm ready to record?
Most artists think they need every song completely finished before stepping into the studio. In reality, if you have strong ideas or work tapes, a clear vision, and are committed to the process, we can often refine the remaining details together before recording begins.
I've never worked with a producer before. What exactly do you do?
A producer helps guide the creative and technical process from start to finish. That can include song development, arrangement decisions, performance coaching, recording direction, and ensuring the final product connects with your artistic vision.
How much should I budget for recording a project? How much will it cost?
Every project is different depending on the number of songs, instrumentation, and production goals. After discussing your project, I'll provide a clear proposal so you understand exactly what's included and can make an informed decision.
What if my band isn't experienced in the studio?
That's completely normal. Part of my job is creating an environment where musicians feel comfortable, confident, and prepared to deliver great performances, regardless of their previous studio experience.
How long does the whole process usually take?
Timelines vary based on the scope of the project, but we'll establish clear expectations from the beginning. My goal is to keep the process moving efficiently while giving the music the attention it deserves.
Why should I hire a producer instead of recording everything myself?
Today's tools make it easier than ever to record music, but making a great record requires more than a DAW, a microphone, and some fancy plug-ins. A producer provides objective feedback, creative direction, performance coaching, and a structured process that helps artists achieve a stronger final result.
Do you work with artists outside of Nashville?
Yes! Whether you want to travel to Nashville to record, or if finding a studio in your city works for you best, we can make anything happen. I have studio contacts all over the country.
What makes your approach different from other producers?
I believe great records start with great relationships. Before we dive into the music, I take the time to understand who you are, what you're trying to say, and where you want to go as an artist.
As a lifelong musician, I speak the language of artists. My role is to guide, challenge, and support you throughout the process so you leave with more than a great record—you leave as a better artist.
